About me
I specialise in working with children and young people, from pre-school through to early adulthood.
After several years volunteering with a relationship counselling service for adult couples, I went on to train as a child and adolescent counsellor at University of London (Birkbeck).
I hold a Masters degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents.
Since 2017, I have been providing counselling in schools and continue to work as a school counsellor alongside my private practice. I also have several years' experience as a volunteer learning support assistant and student mentor in primary and secondary schools.
I am a member of BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council) and BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), which means that the high standard of training I have undertaken is recognised and validated, and I continue to follow ethical guidelines in my own practice.
I hold an enhanced DBS certificate (full criminal records checks).
